International Day
St. Mary’s Academy’s Parents’ Guild is delighted to host International Day on Sunday, April 21, 2024. International Day began in 1975 and is a time-honoured tradition that brings together the SMA community to celebrate its diversity and culture. Similar to Folklorama, guests will enjoy a variety of ethnic foods, live entertainment, a wine raffle, and an art exhibition with an auction — all within an atmosphere of fun and friendship. As the primary fundraiser for the Parents' Guild, proceeds from the day will benefit student extracurricular activities and equipment. Mass begins at 11 AM, pavilions open at Noon, and live entertainment kicks off at 1 PM. A warm invitation is extended to all community members. Admission is free.
Established in 1955, our school is one that serves to a nurturing diversified community. Christ the King School is now accepting applications for Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 students. We offer Full time Junior Kindergarten (4 year old program) and Full time Kindergarten (Mon-Fri full days). We also offer Before & After Care from 7am – 6pm during the school year, private bus service, Gr. 6-8 Band program, a competitive Sports Program and much more.
St. Mary’s Academy is pleased to host our Open House on January 16, 2024, beginning at 7 PM. The Academy, a grades 7 to 12 Catholic school in the tradition of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, takes pride in our 154 year legacy of learning, faith, service and leadership. Our students graduate empowered with knowledge, aware of their gifts, possess a desire for excellence in all endeavours, and embrace a sense of social responsibility to use their abilities in the service of others. All interested students and their families are invited to attend our Open House. The evening begins with a welcome and speeches in Alumnae Hall followed by tours of our campus and opportunities to speak with students, faculty, and admissions personnel.
